Chris Estey

Chris Estey has been writing about music in Seattle since 1986. He has written for The Rocket, The Stranger, Seattle Sound, and other publications. He was the editor-in-chief of Fuelmagazine and BANDOPPLER Magazine. He has worked at labels since the late 90s, most recently as the first in-house publicist for Light In The Attic Records (The Black Angels, The Saturday Knights, Betty Davis, Karen Dalton). He has written publicity materials for many major labels as well. He has done rock and roll comics with David Lasky ("Hotwire" from Fantagraphics); has also published over two dozen personal zines since 1979. He loves comedy, books, vinyl, and Three Imaginary Girls.
