The return of Jens

For the rest of the world, today marked the release of Jens Lekman's new album Night Falls Over Kortedala (hint: it's apparently good as a certain other website gave it a 9.0) and to the rest of the world I say: bite me!

Us in the states have to wait until October 9th for the album to be released via Secretly Canadian, but if you're really jonesing for what might be, for me, the most anticipated album of the fall, you can visit Srvice.com to order the album - and you get a few CD EP Jens recorded in his old apartment when he was moving out! And as a free bonus just for visiting the site, you can download "The Opposite of Hallelujah" from the new album...and let me tell you, the song is another Lekman gem. Pure pop wonderment.

Jens is even touring the US in the fall ... so clear your calendars!

the album is phenomenal - well worth any hoops one would have to jump thru to get it in advance. and as for the nectar show? please note that it's with local goodness throw me the statue. unbeatable combo!

I agree with Sarah ... it's really really good. It's sort of a Jens Lekman party album but all sentimental and tongue and cheek and everything that Jens Lekman pulls off like nobody else in the world.
