We all knew it was coming, what with the arrest in the UK and her subsequent US work visa denial, but I just got the official word from Live Nation: Lily Allen has canceled her September 15th show at the Paramount Theater in Seattle.

From the official announcement:

U.K. artist Lily Allen is regrettably postponing her upcoming series of West Coast dates. U.S. authorities revoked her work visa earlier this month when she was entering the country. The reinstatement process has proven lengthier than anticipated, thus preventing her tour from launching on September 6th in San Diego, CA.

“I am so disappointed that I won’t be able to come to the States at this time,” says Lily. “I was really looking forward to playing these shows and being part of the Video Music Awards. I want my fans to know that I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can!”

Ticket refunds will be issued at place of purchase.
