Submitted by imaginary dana on August 13, 2007.According to an article in today's Daily Mail, that's what soul singer (and my BFF) Amy Winehouse had in her system when she collapsed from a drug overdose last week.
Horse. Tranquilisers. As cute as the UK spelling of the word is -- how does anyone think that's going to make for a good time? Ack!
Said article also reports that she's seeking solace with her father instead of help from professionals for her addiction issues. The article quotes Amy as saying:
"I never want to feel that way again. It was just crazy - one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I've scared myself this time. I was all over the place. I know things have got to change. I have to sort myself out."
She said she needed her father, not doctors, to help her overcome her problems. "When I get self-destructive I just need to spend time with Dad. Rehab is a cop-out," she added.
I'm going to refrain from quoting any tracks from Amy's article, cause it's just too easy. I just hope she pulls through!
