NME redesigned
Submitted by imaginary dana on July 10, 2007.Looks like Three Imaginary Girls isn't the only redesigned music website this year: NME has a new look and feel as well.
From an article on mad.co.uk:
Innovations include a “Your photos” section to run alongside the letters page; a Weekly Planner catering for younger readers; Stuff We Love that extends coverage to fashion, gadgets and brand merchandise the magazine and behind NME Lines, coverage which takes readers into the NME office and introduces the staff.
Existing sections are also being shaken up with the cover feature being brought to the front of the title; an overhaul of the news pages for deeper analysis, comment and opinion and the review section being boosted by 60 per cent. Readers will also now have album reviews published.
I wonder what content management system they're using (she says in her geekiest editorial tone possible...)

New Musical Express, Kiku. I almost wrote "New Music Express" even though I looked at the one copy I own of the magazine and "Musical" is perfectly visible while Meg White's head blocks out most of "Express". Then I went to Wikipedia. But, anyway, yeah, New Musical Express. :-)

haha thanks Chris! I may see you at the Catch show on friday, but I'm debating whether to see them, or Harry and the Potters :\

I'd vote Harry and the Potters, on the argument that they're from really far away (Boston!). And so worth seeing!! I'll remind you on Friday morning.

I'll be at the Catch show on Friday, but I understand. HATP only come to town every so often. The Catch also have another all-ages show next month (Aug. 10 at Chop Suey with BOAT and the Switches - a really great band from the UK)! :-)
