Figurines set US release date for next record. Rejoice!

Figurines released one of my absolute fave records of 2006, Skeletons {review}, toured up a storm {review}, and then headed back to their native Denmark. Today they just announced via MySpace that they have a US release date and label for their next album...
When The Deer Wore Blue will be released in the U.S. by local Seattle label The Control Group on September 11th. US tour dates, coming soon.
Me, excited!!!!!

Yeah, Control Group also put out Skeletons. They rock.

totally spaced on that one. buy cd...put it on ipod...never look at cd again...forget what label band is on.

I finally got around to getting Skeleton last week
(courtesy of the whims of lala.com) and I have to say, I quite enjoy it.
