The Fratellis have been opening for BRMC on their recent US tour which has a stop scheduled in Seattle on Sunday May 13th. For months I've been going back and forth, divided on whether I should go see Peter, Bjorn and John that night (at Neumos) or stick with my SXSW loves, The Fratellis.

They could play approximately 193 gigs in four days at SXSW but they can't finish four more dates on their tour?? I thought they made 'em tough in Scotland??

The Fratellis aren't tough or cool for that matter. Our Uni tried to get them to play our big event at the end of the year. At first they said they don't do student gigs, then we pestered a bit more, they asked how much the Uni was willing to pay for them to play, we stated £10,000. They then asked for a few more zeroes, we told them to piss off and now we're stuck with the automatic

we got the Automatic, don't know if they broke in the US. They had a novelty hit over here with a song called 'monster'. Youtube it, its annoying

The Fratellis are already pretty well disliked in Astoria, OR; this surely won't help.
