Champagne in a can? Yes please!

This may be old news, but I was at a barbecue this weekend and my friend Jess brought along her new friend Sofia — an adorable little four-pack of pink cans of champagne, that come complete with little straws a la Capri Sun!
Jess was kind enough to share one of her Sofia's with me (so named for Sofia Coppola, as Francis Coppola Wineries are behind the ingenious product), and I give it a big ol' Betsy Boston lip-smacking thumbs up! It's so ghetto fab, yet so inconspicuous (at least now) that I'm thinking about buying a pack of em and bringing them to work — cause really they just look like a pretty energy drink. Has anyone else tried these? Am I the last to know again?

Sigh. I miss working downtown. I used to go to the Market, stop into DeLaurenti to pickup up some deli-cheese and a can of Sofia, and eat lunch at the park whilst sipping away. It looks like soda, so no one ever seemed to be the wiser. (What? Does this make me a lush, drinking in public?)
