I'm having a hard time containing myself this morning with all the new music fluttering around. Here's the new stuff that's rocking my world today:
And I haven't even mentioned the fact that tonight I'm going to get to hear the new Idlewild and Jarvis cds (thanks for running to the record store for me igDana!). I'm actually sort of proud of myself that I didn't make her put the telephone up to the stereo speaker when we were on the phone last night. That kind of behavior would have been too much... right?

A Welsh band named Los Campesinos ("the farmers")... I am intrigued.
And Your Favorite Book are playing in the UD at Trabant Chai on 4/27!

If you looked up "Imaginary Girl Liz's favorite bands" in the Encyclopedia Brittanica, there would be Los Campesinos, clapping and giggling and generally making merriment...

My friend introduced me to Los Campesinos! t'other day. He goes to Uni with them, and even met the red headed medical girl, the lucky swine. You can also download their original demo on this handy Welsh BBC minisite

sad to say though, no matter how good the new Idlewild album is, it's no where near as good as Captain is
