Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

I know it's short notice but still worth a mention here. The luckiest damn kids in the world, AKA Natalie Portman's Shaved Head, are playing a benefit for the Vera Project at, uhh, the Vera Project tonight.

I recommend this show because it's the last time the silly but fun dance band is playing a show before playing SXSW and then touring with Lily Allen (hence the "luckiest damn kids in the world" tag I'm giving them).

The details are as such:

Tuesday Night: a Vera Benefit at Vera with Natalie Portman's Shaved Head. Cheap tickets!  Lots of fun!
Tuesday February 17 | 7:30 PM
A Vera Project Benefit:
Natalie Portman's Shaved Head
$6 ($5 w. club card)

All of NPSH's shows are silly and crazy but they have a knack for writing catchy, adolescent pop songs. The next NW show they'll play is April 6, when their tour with Allen hits the Showbox Sodo.

Tonight's show should be a great time because NPSH always puts on a dance party whenever they play Vera. To hold you over between now and 7:30, here's the video to one of their catchiest songs, "Sophisticated Side Ponytail":
