Hmm, I'm originally from Louisiana and music is in my blood but I reside on the Hill now.  I spent nearly 10 years working college radio both as a music director at my small southern liberal arts school  and then with the Dark Side as a record promoter. Along the way I worked on more than one project that was #1 on CMJ and attended six CMJ conferences, a couple Gavin's, and finally SXSW this year. I also managed to collect a ton of records, some hearing loss (j/k) & one serious death threat. I'll probably tack a few on to all of those while here.
