Latest comment by: Katie: "Such a great show, and much better than the previous night. I've seen them five times, and it was definitely my favorite show of the lot. I took some pictures, too: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lessadventurous/sets/72157624637108838/"

Monday morning check-in: Did you stay local or Doe Bay it?

The Dodos-The Space Needle Is A High Hat

What a nice calm mild weekend... how perfect for a total DOE BAY weekend! Who journey'd up there? How was it? The line-up was impeccable and the fest sold out. Tell us all!

Or were you like our Photographer of the Day {thanks for the photo jody-rodgers!} and kick it Seattle style at the Seattle Center Mural Amphitheatre for some free KEXP action with the Dodos and Army Navy?

Spill it people!

Time to Die. New album from The Dodos out in September

Due out September 15th on Frenchkiss, The Dodos third album, Time to Die is produced by Phil Ek and features a new member, Keaton Snyder, on the vibraphone.

They will be in Seattle on August 14th playing the KEXP Mural Amphitheater Summer Series. Get ready for it.

The band remained true to form all night: creative, energetic, degenerate, and cacophonous, with lots of chunky beats and bouncy, rolling guitars, high energy and just a lot of fun in general.
