Seattle has some of the most picturesque vistas (most of which are found within local clubs like Chop Suey and the Comet Tavern). It's no surprise that TIG photographer Kyle Johnson has a stack of photos he loves that have been taken by some of Seattle's finest photographers.

As is not unusual, Pitchfork leads with a review of one of the record from one of the most hyped bands to come out of the blogosphere. As is unusual, Pitchfork offered this review (a very low 3.3 from editor Scott Plagenhoef).

I'm such a sucker for whistling. And isn't this the most visually satisfying video ever.
