I don't know how I've missed it for SO long, but Daytrotter is quickly becoming my new favorite site. Basically how it works is awesome bands swing by the Daytrotter studios whilst on tour and stop to record a few songs for a "Daytrotter Session". My current favorites are these tracks from The Watson Twins, most especially their sway-inducing cover of Sade's "The Sweetest Taboo" (hey, what can I say? I'm a child of the 80s!).

But there is SO much great music on this site that I encourage you to sign up and check it out. It's totally free, there's a ton of bands (including Old 97s, OK Go, Iron & Wine, MGMT, Wavves, Vampire Weekend and Of Montreal!!!) and you can download what you like for keeps. How insanely cool is that? We love you, Daytrotter!
