Three Imaginary Girls will celebrate our sixth birthday with an Exile in {Imaginary} Girlville bash at Chop Suey on June 25, 2008, which will feature the music of Liz Phair's seminal debut Exile in Guyville performed in order by a bunch of our favorite Northwest bands of the moment. This podcast highlights the music of those bands. Enjoy!
Latest comment by: M. Bison: "Hell yes for playing M. Bison tunes! Thank you so much! That tune is actually called "party all the time" - not "deer hunter." don't sweat it tigs, and be there on exile night!"

We gathered our imaginary staff to determine our collective Northwest favorites for 2007. It was hard work. Imaginary battles were fought, alliances formed, and finally, winners emerged.
You should have seen the way that imaginary Liz can arm wrestle, and how Erik Gonzalez can duke it out for his favorite bands. It was fierce and fun, and we think our final list was well worth the effort.
Latest comment by: imaginary dana: "Oh! I just got all teary taking it down. Sigh. Thanks for the reminder, randy. Now I'd love to hear what you have to say about our list. :)"

Latest comment by: julia: "Right behind the library is where all the kirkland stoners hang - the venue is a little hard to find, but you know it's near when you pass their lil' grove. Any bouts of noise, often times escaping from the amazing ktub, scares them so they tend to scatter quickly. ...

Dana and I are here at the Capitol Hill Block Party and so excited to be blogging right here from the center of the action here at Caffe Vita. The pavement and people still look fresh (rather than the sweaty spectacle I imagine they'll be later in the day) and the Hill is alive with the sound of indie rock.

Latest comment by: imaginary dana: "Did anyone go to this show last night?? I want to hear details! Sounds like it was a great lineup."
The Pride Parade may be going on downtown today, but the party is up in Capitol Hill. Broadway is alive with the sound of Pride, and if you head a bit south on B-way, the Wildrose has put together a beer garden complete with music and goodtimes.
