Cunninlynguists put out a record called Dirty Acres. I just wanted to point that out.
Latest comment by: cosby: "didn't the new interpol live ep come out this past week? that madonna joint has 'cleopatra records' written all over it. when can we get an all-oboe no-name-goth-band tribute to joy division volume 2?"
Well, it's another week (weak) of re-issues, remixes, and scraps.
Latest comment by: Tim Hanken: "I'm holding on to the session musician theory anyway. It feels good to be so cool (by transitive property of course.)"
My mother always said "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all." Well, I seldom listen to her...
Latest comment by: Joseph Riippi: "Eminem with a live album? That sounds horrible. I love me my JT. Was raised on it from the womb onward. My first concert was JT at the Gorge, way back in my younger and more vulnerable years, when Carolina was always on my mind. Ah! Fire! Rain!"
This week's new releases looks like some kinds of flashback or a Halloween trick, but alas it's true: Arrested Development, Backstreet Boys, Blues Traveler, and Britney are all back with new records.
Latest comment by: Erik Gonzalez: "So. Jealouser."

AND they will be here @ QA Easy Street TONIGHT @ 6 PM for their record release performance, so come on down!
Latest comment by: imaginary dana: "I can't believe they snubbed Seattle but decided to make a stop in freaking LOUISVILLE Kentucky!! Does that even make sense?? Meh. And Erik, there's no shame in that -- it's also a fine release. "
Featuring new releases from Okkervil River, Mirah, Billie Holiday, Public Enemy, and more!
Latest comment by: Betsy Boston: "I saw them open for Rilo Kiley a few years ago. They played a super short set and hinted at some kind of catastrophe as the cause (I theorized they'd either gotten lost or been delayed) but it only took me the few songs they played to fall in love. I couldn't ...
This Tuesday sees new releases from Arthur & Yu, Mark Olson, Rocky Votolato, the White Stripes, and loads more...
Latest comment by: Betsy Boston: "Stay off the crack."
Pissed Jeans! A bummer in real life, but a great, great band.
WILCO! WILCO! WILCO! Sky Blue Sky is amazing as everybody dared not dream it might be. It's well worth the wait and just might measure up to be one of their finest!
