Best of 2007: imaginary Dana's picks

I have so many favorites for 2007 that narrowing the lists was tricky. Plus I'm preggo as a house and have NO memory at this point, so I'm sure I've inadvertently omitted some really great releases and songs. Forgive me and my wacked out hormones.

But that said, here are some Top of 2007 lists from me, to you. Feel free to leave comments both nasty and supportive. I likely deserve both for some of my erratic tastes.

The Pipettes tour delay thanks to issues with US visa - conspiracy? I suspect yes.

I've lost track now of just how many indie-bands have had to cancel or post their US-tours because of Visa issues, and as of this morning, we can add The Pipettes to that staggering list

The Pipettes finally release US full-length debut, and tour to celebrate

UK lovey pop-tastic triplets The Pipettes have just announced that they'll finally be releasing their full-length debut We Are the Pipettes in the US on October 2nd, on Interscope Records. To which I say, it's about damn time!

The first thing anyone notices when watching the Pipettes is that they are stunning. That grasps your attention but their voices captivate and hold you through a likeable stage presence and some of the most ridiculously catchy pop songs in recent years.
