Fests are upon us: Part 1: Georgetown Music Festival

While Bumbershoot and the Capitol Hill Block Party have grown to astronomical (read as: huge touring bands) proportions, The Georgetown Music Festival is keeping it local as can be, with a preliminary lineup of loads of Seattle- (and a few Portland) based bands prepared to rock South Seattle this June 2-3.

It may be a bit suspect that there’s no Speaker Speaker, Juhu Beach, Siberian, The Lights or The Cops (And no Hip-Hop?!!) but maybe those bands ...

Seattle band Coho rocked the early set at the KEXP Audioasis showcase on Saturday, and in case you missed it -- or in case you you saw it, but you need more -- they're opening the night at the Croc tonight.
