The SoDo district's music venue The Fenix, aka The Premier, is changing names yet again. In what appears to be a bi-annual shuffling of ownership for this space, it will now be run by The Showbox, and will be called the Showbox Sodo. Get the deets here.

I really liked the old Premier space -- the sound was fantastic and the pre-funk drinks and nachos top-notch (though the artist bills were never my favorite). Can't say I've been in since it's been The Fenix, but then again, that hasn't been too long...I look forward to easier street-parking at this annex spot, however. Viva Showbox SoDo!
