My favorite vinyl records are the signed records I have, which I don't listen to but hang on my wall. They include records by Lou Reed, the Donnas, Neko Case, Le Tigre, and, uhh, this one; but my very, very favorite is Sleater-Kinney's *Dig Me Out*.

Palace's Lost Blues and Other Songs. Nothing sounds better than Will Oldham on vinyl.
I am also partial to some of my old Sinatra records. And Boston's Boston

Slint - Spiderland! Which I bought a couple of weeks ago, strangely when Elvis Costello was in the record store. So there's that, or the numerous David Bowie ones my Mum generously "donated" to me.

I have a beautiful Modest Mouse vinyl, a tiny New Pornographers 45, and a cute poppy album from a band I've never heard of but I bought because it was $1.45 at my favorite record store :] I buy vinyl in the cheap bins based on cover art

All the vinyl I have is actually from my childhood. Got some Fleetwood Mac, Christopher Cross, Culture Club, the Bangles, Thriller of course...
My favorite: John Denver and the Muppets Christmas album.

Maybe I'm just an anachronism, but I still listen to vinyl on a day to day basis. And since I've been in my apartment all afternoon working, here's what I've listened to (in no particular order, because I'm just looking at the pile on my bed where each successive record has gone):
Kid A (double 10-inch from London, yeah!)
Karen Dalton (love it, love it, love it)
Elliott Smith "S/T"
Sleater-Kinney "Dig Me Out"
A Xiu Xiu tour 7-inch I just found and hadn't listened to...
Death Cab "Photo Album" (had to listen to somethign a bit happier after the last three)
Q and Not U "Book of Flags" 7-inch
Tom Waits "Nighthawks at the Diner"
and Tom Waits "The Heart of Saturday night" is on now...just got int the mood.
