Hmm... I'm still too blurry eyed from the trip to process this headline:
Drew Carey to host The Price is Right
PRO: I'd trust Drew alone with my children - which is more than I can say for some of the other guys rumored to be up for the job (J. Peterman).
CON: Who's Line Is It Anyway makes my stomach churn. But I *could* grow to blame that solely on the show's 'improv' element rather than him as a host.
Regardless, I'm still practicing my fake slip when spinning the big wheel. And I imagine the grab in the $100 pocket practice will continue on.

Liz, you beat me to this post! I was just starting to compose my entry when I saw you already did.
At least we now know who'll host - much as we finally know the end of the Harry Potter series. I feel pleasantly calm about the world, finally having some answers.

Closure is good. I'm glad you two finally have a sense of peace!!

Wow! I have to say, I find this the least offensive choice possible. I like Drew, I enjoyed "Whose Line" for the most part (Wayne Brady grew to grate on my nerves), and I couldn't imagine The Price is Right in the hands of some second-rate star like J. Peterman, or anyone who's ever hosted The Family Feud for that matter — except maybe Richard Dawson, just to watch him try to make out with all the guests.
But yeah, for me = Go Drew!

I don't know about the trusting-with-children part, but I agree with everything else. Could be better (Rosie), could be worse (Peterman).
And OMG! Welcome back to the 206!!!!
