I always love it when a local Northwest band grows up and finds success in a big way.

So when Portland's Stars of Track and Field signed to Wind-Up Records last year, TIG was thrilled for their success. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of fellas.

This morning, I received an email for their forthcoming tour... and did a sputter-double take when I realized that HOLY SHITE they are playing with the EFFING SMASHING PUMPKINS for part of their tour.
