I'm too scared to listen...
Submitted by imaginary char on July 11, 2007.
What do you get when you start a band that mixes the Beatles with Metallica? Beatallica, of course. Yes, this band exists. In fact their third album, Sgt. Hetfield’s Motorbreath Pub Band, was released yesterday.
They have an mp3 but I'm too afraid to listen to it. Can someone please listen and report back to the class on what they heard?
Here it is. Click at your own risk.

The singer is hilarious, and I'm 99.9% he does not, repeat, does NOT even know the words, he's seriously mumbling most of them, it seems. hahahaha.
It's so sad and hilarious that my day seems a little brighter. ha.

This whole song and picture was funny to me until I really absorbed the words "third album".
The first album was considered by the music scene to be a novelty. And so, following in the footsteps of their hero, Tiny Tim, Beatallica wanted the world to know they're here to stay, serving up delicious slices of hybrid-pop-metal-pie to everyone willing to choke it down. Hence the second record.
With a third album under their belt and a tour of the Milky Way in the works, these stellar and ingenius rockers are setting their sights higher than anyone before them. To sum it up, Beatallica is "out of this world".
I'm sorry. I'm bored.

Writing a fictitious review of a band that is sadly all-too-real. haha.

Seriously?! I couldn't help but giggle out loud. I couldn't mix the two sounds in my head but listening to this, its just.... wow.
Thank you for brightening my day.

In reply to Shane (#8):
On an imaginary website, nonetheless.

oh god I'm sorry, I made all that stuff up, I didn't mean to scare you. hahaha.

Char:
It. Is. Terrible.
Not even terrible in a Weird Al kinda way. More like terrible in a 42-year-old-dude-living-in-his-mom's-basement-with-some-recording-equipment-and-no-job kinda way.
Ugh. Please: kill me now.

I still haven't listened to it. I'm not sure I'm strong enough.

You mean you're not willing to try just a bite of Beatallica pie, and yet you've passively subjected all of your imaginary friends to it?
Be one of us. Indulge.
Shane Curry said on July 11, 2007:
Oh it's so sinfully sweet, too.
or rather, just sinful. Beatallica taints the soul.

Unlike Char, I couldn't resist opening the file.
Here's what I will report:
1. The guy does a credible James Hetfield impersonation.
2. Do people still say "I think I just threw up in my mouth a little?"
