A great... a comeback of blandness. A Bittersweet Symphony called boring.

Liz?????? I can't BELIEVE you're a Verve hater! "The Drugs Don't Work" is one of the best songs of the 90's-00's.

I have to admit, I liked the Verve at first, being a fan of "Slide Away", then didn't like the Verve, then hated the Verve, then suddenly decided I like them again and fell in love with Urban Hymns (about 2 years after everyone else did).
As long as this isn't a Verve Pipe reunion (speaking of ridiculous names ... what the heck is a Verve Pipe anyway?), its all good.

I was in the Verve Pipe's hometown last month. I almost hunted them down and asked when the best of album was coming out. I've got to get you something special for Christmas, Erik.

I am totally down with the Verve. I had no idea Liz was a Verve hater. We might have to have an intervention.

I'm with igLiz. 'Comeback' seems the wrong word here. Yawn.

Let's all just take a moment and think back to the hit single "Freshman" by the Verve Pipe.
Ahhhhhhhh....

I'm all for it, although I doubt they'll tour in the US (they never really hit it big over here). Also, it's kind of a bummer that Simon Tong isn't involved. They were/are a great band though, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.
