Twitter nation?

I'm *this* close to joining the TWITTER REVOLUTION!
I keep going back and forth about taking on one more electronic thing to maintain and fear the possibility of information overload - but all those cute colors and graphics on the twitter website are so compelling to the I'm thinking it may be a lot of fun. Perhaps it would be less intimidating if I thought of it was twee-ter?
Who else is twittering? Any goodtime, crazy, or scary stories to convince me to go one twitter way or the other?
One thing's for sure, I can't hook it up to my cell phone, that thing scares me enough all ready.

Twitter is fun. By itself, it's not much, but if you combine it with facebook or virb or your own personal site using javascript or rss feeds it's pretty darn cool. You can post tweets using your phone without having to get tweets on your phone if you don't want to, no need to be scared!
