Lily Allen says she's an alcoholic

Taken from this article:

Lily Allen has claimed she's an alcoholic and is heading for an early death.

The U.K. pop starlet had endured a difficult few months in the public eye, pulling a string of live shows in America and feuding with
Cheryl Tweedy from Girls Aloud.

However, she has now insisted that her new lifestyle of constant touring has prompted an unhealthy love of booze.

Lily says she needs to get back into the studio to work on the follow-up to acclaimed debut Alright, Still, so she can get straightened out.

She explained: "I'm an alcoholic now. It's not good and that's why I want to get back into the studio. I've actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up. I've got to stop abusing myself because as far as I'm concerned every loon hates me now."

Lily Allen plays the Glastonbury Festival later this month.

She's so imaginary and she doesn't even know it. As long as she doesn't pull that Lohan/Spears rehab trick she'll be ok.

I wish I understood the fascination with Lily Allen ... She strikes me as a poor man's Gwen Stefani.

That's not true, with Lily Allen's accent, she sounds WAY cooler while spelling bananas.

When did musicians (and celebrities in general) become such whiny babies. So you love the booze...

Embrace it, or stop drinking. Don't put out a press release about it. Blah...so annoying.

Do you suppose she drunk when she said that she pulled herself aside?
