Lily Allen and Debbie Harry on the Today Show

In my review of Lily Allen's concert at the Showbox last March, I mentioned that she covered Blondie's "Heart of Glass". Here's the clip of Allen performing that song on "The Today Show" with Debbie Harry. I haven't decided if it is awesome or terrible, but it is definitely one or the other. My head says terrible but my heart says awesome. You decide:

I saw this on the tellie while working out on Friday so I couldn't hear what it sounded like, but could watch and sing along (using the karaoke-friendly closed captioning). It actually sounds better than I thought it would! Thanks for posting Chris.

And way to go with the cute dress Lily. Springtime hipster. So cute.

I just never thought that this was the best Blondie song for Allen to cover and Harry's voice hasn't held up as well - but it definitely could have been *much* worse. :-)
