Tonight in Seattle:

Weekend Report - Spill it!

Happy 3-Day holiday weekend everyone!

There's a ton of stuff going on and we want to hear all about it. Blogging via your cell phone from Sasquatch? Did you go to the Beastie Boys show at the Croc last night? Are you in NYC at the PopFest? Are you sequestered at your parents cabin looking for a rideside fireworks stand?

Link to your Flickr recounts and tell us all about your special moment with King Ad Rock at the back bar. We can't wait to hear all about it!

I'm headed to the Sunset to catch the Small Change, Young Sportsmen, Argo and The Maldives tonight. Not as fancy as the NYC Popfest or Sasquatch related stuff. But, a solid night of good music, nonetheless.

I'll be trying to see Yacht here in Davis. Woo!

Thee More Shallows tomorrow night in Boston! Zang!
(Tonight I'm hanging in with Veronica Mars.)

I just got to PARIS and it's 6:30p and rainy. We are staying in the nicest apartment ever in Montmarte -- and it has free wifi! So perhaps a blog post tonight.... Viva le France!!

I just heard a toilet flush for the first time in two days (aka just got back from Sasquatch). It was great fun. Incredibly Strange Wrestling was particularly hilarious because we were standing next to a bunch of really drunk people. One of the drunk guys actually reached over the barrier and stole the championship wrestling belt from the ref. The tortillas were flying like crazy—anyone who was there knows what I'm talking about. Spoon were amazing (even though they almost didn't get to play because of "dangerous winds"). We braved the bitter near-midnight winds for half of the Beastie Boys set. I'm not sure if it was a self-warming technique or sheer excitement, but the entire floor crowd was bouncing up and down in unison for the majority of the songs. Ok, I'm rambling. Reviews will be up soon.

Sasquatch was ridiculous. The Arcade Fire totally blew the f-ing roof off... I have a few minutes of cell phone footage to prove it.

Surprise hit of the festival?--- Patrick Wolf.

Hold Steady, GLO, Arcade Fire and Bjork! Seriously awesome dollar to awesomeness ratio for one day.

Came back to Seattle Sunday and caught the Heartless Bastards at the Tractor, super fun bar music.

Tired now!

My sasquatch pics and very short Bjork video

Um, my face is red cause my link above doesn't work. Photos & video from sasquatch here .

Did anyone notice that Sarah Silverman was missing at Sasquatch? Did anyone else notice that the Dandy Warhol's set was really, really long? Spoon started playing during the Dandy's set, so we rushed over to the mainstage and after Spoon had finished the Dandy's were still playing. We went to get a snack. The Dandy's were still playing. They may still be playing right now.

I just wrote a review on the Beastie Boys show at the croc, check it out :)

Man, what a jam-packed weekend!
On Friday after work, I strolled through Folklike just to see what was going on, but decided not to stay until Monday. Later on I went to the Priestbird show at Atlas.
Then early Saturday morning I headed over to the Gorge to help the Vera out with tabling. Luckily they let us out to catch shows; I saw Mirah, the Blow, Grizzly Bear, The Arcade Fire, and Bjork.
Sunday I rested up so that Monday I had plenty of energy to walk around for 8 hours at Folklife, where of course I caught plenty of music there. I even sang along with some street musicians for awhile!!

Yeah! During The Arcade Fire/Bjork, I kept saying, "Where's Sarah Silverman?!"
