Rage @ Coachella

Got off the phone with a friend who just returned from Coachella. He said that the whole vibe of the show was different on Sunday w/ Rage on the bill. The Rage show apparently included several "fans" running around punching people and a large police presence whom it appeared were waiting for a riot to start. Good Times!

Did anyone else witness this scene? Have thoughts, comments about Coachella 2007?

Not you indie sucks, I know you think Coachella sucks.

I do admit I used to be a RATM fan and was looking foward to the ruinon show.

But what made me comment this, was what you said about IndieSucks.

One of the best shows I ever saw was Rage Against the Machine in a hockey rink in Fitchburg, MA. It was pretty much a controlled riot but freaking amazing stuff.

I think Rage on the bill is just fine with me. Wake some of those sleepy hipsters up from their slumber.

And again I ask, Zack's solo disc, supposedly produced by, among others, DJ Shadow. Is it real or a fantasy?

Anyone in New York excited for Wu-Tang and RAGE on the same bill out at Randall's Island? Bring an extra wallet and some ACE bandages, cuz that's going to get messy.

Punching people is so lame.

I saw Rage Against the Machine laughed off the stage as the opening act for indie-pop super stars UNREST. Kids who actually went to college weren't buying it all. They were FUCKING terrible!!!! I've never understood how a band on a Major Label was doing anything close to raging against the machine. Cashing checks issued by the machine... maybe? But raging against it? I think not!
