Northwest bands playing Bumbershoot: the updated list
Submitted by imaginary dana on April 30, 2007.Last week I posted to the imagi-blog and asked which local bands have heard back that they're been selected to play at Bumbershoot. Between blog comments and MySpace comments and some gossip at Friday night's show, here is the newly updated list:
- The Cops
- Fleet Foxes
- Grand Archives
- Mono in VCF
- The Saturday Knights
- Shake Some Action!
- The Trucks
But we know there have to be loads more of you out there... so c'mon! Let's hear it. Who's playing Bumbershoot???

I think Aqueduct said he'd be at Bumbershoot too :]
There used to be a place where you could vote for what bands you wanted to see at Bumbershoot, I'm not sure if its still up. I cast my votes several times :]

It's cool the Cops are playing. I can live with that, but I know of some really good bands that aren't confirmed to play who deserve a spot more so than the Saturday Knights. I don't know what the big deal is with them. I heard them perform live on 107.7 a few months ago and I thought they sucked really bad.

Anyone know about non-local artists that are going to be playing?? I read the list on the Bumbershoot site but you know there are a lot more that they have not told us about yet...

The Blakes, according to their myspace page, are playing on Sept. 3rd on the Backyard stage at 2pm.
