Drink beer for a good cause
Submitted by imaginary char on April 28, 2007.One thing I've found out about Seattleites is that they're great at multitasking. Which brings me to one of my favorite events of the year that's happening tomorrow: Crawl for a Cure. Basically, you pay $45 and go on a pub crawl through Fremont. The money raised goes to Cystic Fibrosis research. This is the 6th year of the "crawl for a cure" and they're predicting 1,000 people will participate. It's a great way to meet new people.
Your $45 gets you a t-shirt, a 7 oz beer at each bar (8 total), admission to the Nectar Lounge to see Boss Martians, and a nice warm fuzzy feeling.

I was just in Fremont and can attest to the masses already converging at Dad Watson's. It's definitely for a good cause! Just watch out for the drunkards haphazardly crossing the street - I nearly saw two gals taken out (and it was only 5pm).
