Photo of the day: The Long Winters (and guests) at the Showbox

Huge hugs and thanks to Heather Hydra who beautifully documented last Saturday's Long Winters show at the Showbox. Imaginary Dana was at show (upfront no less) and I can't wait to hear all the details, including the part when Ben Gibbard guest-drummed, Pretty Parlor's Anna Banana joined the band for a song, and all about those Long Horns!
Her review of the show will be up in just a couple of days. (It will be our 16th Long Winters review to date, that's not too many is it?)

I was trying to figure out if the "Banana" on Ms Hydra's Flickr site was Anna, but I thought "Why would Anna be singing with the Long Winters." Then I forgot she dated one of 'em. ha ha. What happened to Dutch Elms?!

Yep, that was the lovely miss Anna Banana -- and she still dates one of em; they're together in that photo.
Not sure if Dutch Elms are still practicing/recording, but I will make it a goal to find out!
