Congrats to Mono in VCF

Remember when we announced a few weeks back that Jarvis Cocker was looking for local support for his Seattle, New York, San Francisco, and Vancouver BC shows? Tacoma band Mono in VCF just won the coveted spot of opening for former Pulp front-man Jarvis Cocker when he plays at the Showbox in Seattle on April 30th.

From the band...

"We're thrilled and honored to be handpicked by the great Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) to support him at his Seattle show two weeks from Monday. Support us as we support Jarvis! We will play this show about a week before we head into the studio with Seattle producer Martin Feveyear to complete our debut album. We hope to see you at the show..."

After releasing their debut EP The Voltage Control back in 2005, Mono in VCF recently replaced frontman Charles Perales for a female vocalist, Kim Miller. TIG will be at the show and will definitely keep an ear out for their new sound. Congrats to the band!
