I read that on Pitchfork yesterday. I think it's about 100 shades of awesome.

Some days I feel like I'm the only one who's absolutely humorless about these sorts of things... ;)

I don't think we've ever held the pretension that Robert Smith wouldn't sell out at the drop of a hat ...

He also hooked up with Korn on their last unplugged project, so I think he might just be so out of touch with what's going on in the music world, he just does what his handlers book for him.

Yeah? Think maybe we could get him to come karaoke "Three Imaginary Boys" at our next party?? ;)

Agreed Dana. I think Robert has lost his freakin' mind.

Totally. And think of how personally you'd take it if your website was named after his first record!! *Ack!!!*

Robert Smith lacks integrity now.

He's a filthy old man. You can ask my wife - who somewhat knew him - if you don't believe me.

And anyhow, didn't he also team up with Blink 182? Is he just trying to stay relevant?

More importantly: Do you think he even remembers how to play any of the songs on 'Faith' or 'Pornography' anymore, or is it all the cheeseball 'Disintegration' stuff these days?
