   About BC Campbell
This full-length debut of Seattle’s BC Campbell, is a kaleidoscopic array of catchy, soulfully melodic songs, “from funny falsetto to bemused musings on supermodels…through the melding of sex, death and bent metal” Seattle Sound. The allure of the album is the range of musical influences put together with a “consistency of style, both memorable and genuine, artfully conveying the emotion of each song to the listener” Rick Feuer, The Fifth Dimension. From Motown to blues-rock, alt-country to stripped down folk/acoustic ballads, lush and stirring string arrangements to house-driven dance music; Now’s the time. traverses the wide and rich terrain of America’s musical landscape. The thread is the warm vocals of BC and his well-crafted song writing- with hooks to spare. As producer, writer, vocalist, and primary “back-up band” BC recorded Now’s the time. with engineer/co-producer Erik Chillman over a two year period in a homemade studio in Seattle’s industrial Georgetown. Beginning as a hopeful experiment-- melding BC’s background in jazz and all forms of rock and Erik’s years as a DJ of acid house and electronic music-- the album developed, song by song into an impressive and mature sonic unity. The album begins with the blasting “How Much,” a driving, grinding song about procrastinating to the point of insanity. The opening song’s exploding energy is the emotional surge that binds the album together; the inner necessity of the music. Followed by “Get Down”, the album’s raw and pulsating dance track-- lust and desire culminate with a sparse and sexy chorus. This song highlights the unique collaboration of the two producers-- an edgy blues guitar and swelling vocals over a driving dance beat, filled with sweeping synth filters. The sweaty and addictive “Carcrash Boogie”, anchored by Campbell’s lascivious bass and soulful punctuations on the guitar, takes the theme of death and transforms it into something beautiful, surreal, even comic. The sweet falsetto and warm harmonies bring the song promisingly to the forefront of the album. Now’s the time. is a beautiful album from a promising songwriter- unafraid to follow his whims to seek his own sound, taking risks both musically and lyrically. From its soaring beginning to its somber end, this album is a song-by-song soundtrack to life’s toils and exhilarations, humanity’s quirks and dark broodings. BC will support Now’s the time. around the Pacific Northwest with his band BC Campbell and The CELEBRITY ORPHANS featuring new music virtuoso Angelina Baldoz on bass, outstanding Jay Hoots on drums, soulful Tyler Clark on guitar and co-producer Erik Chillman on keys.

Hey Friends, it's me, Flowmotion & the Summer Meltdown Festival.

Just wanted to remind everyone, the festival is coming up in about three weeks or so and tickets are about to go up in price on July 23rd. Now is the time to get your tickets. 30+ bands on three stages, camping on 40 acres next to the river and epic views of glacier capped Whitehorse Mountain from the stage. It's about 75 minutes north of Seattle in Darrington WA. This is going to be one of the best years yet, so please tell all your friends and spread the word about the tickets going up next week. Visit the official site by clicking on the graphic below to get all the details.

Greetings Party Peeps!

It's St. Pat's once again, and once again your very own Goondocks will be blowing the roof off Fremont's revered High Dive! We must apologize for disappearing in recent months. We've been hard at work writing and arranging new material for our forthcoming new full-length release, tentatively titled, "Man, Your Mom Tastes Really Weird. What's Up With That?!" We are currently accepting suggestions for other titles.

Even with the live hiatus in full effect, we simply could not turn down the opportunity to tear up another holiday. So rest assured, tonight will be a balls-out blast of all the Goondocks fav's you've grown to love and expect with a few new twists and some extra special Irish love.

After tonight we'll again retreat to the confines of our Georgetown studio as we continue to polish our compositional turds into the shiny bright awesomeness a Goondocks full length album mandates. So tonight is your only chance in the memorable past or the foreseeable future to share an evening with your ever-loving Goondocks.

Please join us. It's an early show, appropriately scheduled for hard-core drinkin' holiday precariously standing on a Monday evening.

TONIGHT!
Music starts at 7pm
Goondocks on at 8pm

Free! Free! Free!

Greetings party peeps,

Your very own Goondocks are bringing the Halloween funk-fest to Fremont this weekend. Saturday night represents our third annual Halloween costume ball in Seattle. Sadly, the true holiday lands on a weeknight this year, and although you're certain to run into us Wednesday night, bouncing around town scaring the hell out of each other and weeping frequently, our official bash is tomorrow, Saturday night, at the High Dive in lovely hippy-go-yuppy Fremont. Please join us and help support the cause. Even if the cause is only for us to lose less money than we would if you don't come, it's still noble to us.

Please pass this flyer on to all worthy recipients (we're not picky). Also feel free to print it and tape it to your bedroom ceiling. We won't tell your out-of-state boyfriend, promise.
