| About Farewell Addison |
Hailing from the small town of Mt. Vernon, WA, farewell addison has been in the local music scene from the start. Since forming in 2002, the band has been maturing at a fast rate and developing its sonic landscape of guitar and rhodes driven pop-rock. With memorable guitar hooks and an easily accessible sound, this four piece group has quickly developed a large local fan base. in early 2003 the band recorded a six-song ep with Cameron Nicklaus (The Pale, The Catch, etc.) and is currently recording new material at local studios.
Lately Farewell Addison's sound has been shaped less by the acoustic-guitar pop sound that Jonny originally brought to the band. The band's new material has put an electric guitar in Jonny's hands, and the sound has been more agressive and powerful. The band is writing more material in anticipation of a full length recording beginning in the fall of 2004.
Farewell Addison consists of Jonathan Warman [lead vocals, acoustic/electric guitars, and rhodes piano], Scott Keller [electric guitars, and bg vocals], Carl Drechseler [bass], and Rhett Butler [drums]. the group brings a unique combination of energy and emotion to there music. Jonathans guitars and Rhodes driven pop rock are the base of Farewell Addisons sound along with his soft spoken vocals and Scotts guitar layered effects and hooks that keep fans asking for more. Rhett and Carl are a high-energy rhythm section that verges on a power pop and almost punk edge for an aggressive live show.
