All I can say is, OK Go better have another show lined up in Seattle. :)
Maybe they'll play a secret show under the name Nope Stop!
I heart you, Liz!
This is fucking amazing. I hope Bumbershoot turns out as good as this...but it never does :(
I'm so stoked on this lineup.... wish I liked the Gorge more
lame. where is Hey Marseilles and other locals?
this lineup was full of great surprises! I like the Gorge -- it's one of the prettier festivenues around -- but wish that someone would build some decent hotels less than 40 minutes away!
Wow, I like this lineup. I tried to go to this event last night and they reached capacity 6 people ahead of me in line...so I didn't get in.

Come on Megan, even without Hey Marseilles there are still plenty of local bands: Shabazz Palaces, Past Lives, The Lonely Forrest, Fruit Bats, Minus the Bear, The Long Winters, Telekinesis, Fresh Espresso, and if you want to stretch it you can sort of still count Band of Horses, right?

That's not even counting the greater NW bands; New Pornographers, Nurses, Yacht, Japandroids, The Mountain Goats, Quasi....I think local bands are pretty well represented.

I actually like camping out at the Gorge. It's part of the experience. I've gone all 3 days the last 2 years, and although every year I tell myself I'm not going to do it, I'll probably cave and go to at least a few days again this year too.
Snoozequatch 2010. No, I heart a lot of these bands- BSS! New Pornos! No Age!- but feel like I seen them enough. I know I shouldn't compare to filthy rich behemoth Coachella, but I'd trade a whole weekend at the lovely Gorge for Sunday afternoon in boob-sweat drenched Indio.
Naomi at 9, we should be friends.

Josh has pretty much nailed why I'm likely to stay in Seattle that weekend: there aren't any decent hotels close (and the terrible ones in the middle of nowhere cost the same as what you could get in a 4-star hotel in a big city). I'm thinking of Pitchfork or Lollapalooza this year.

ef these overpriced, bloated shows. When i grow up, i'm going to have a festival on my farm and charge no more than twenty dollars a day.
