Well if it makes you feel any better, you didn't miss any new songs. I suppose a very short cover of "Hot for teacher" and a passionate rendition of Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here" (or at least the first verse) might fall into that category.
It was as expected a wonderful Long Winters show complete with all the usual hilarious John Roderick banter. He did put his hair into a pony tail after being challenged to do so by someone in the crowd, then one-upped that by turning it into 2 pony tails and playing the rest of the show that way.
They also played my favorite Long Winters song "Nora", which I hadn't seen them play at any of the previous 3 Long Winters shows I've been to over the years and had given up hope that it would ever make it's way into a set list. Now I guess there's hope that maybe they'll play "Everything is talking" although for some reason that still seems unlikely.
Boat and the Cops were both very good and it seemed that most of the people in attendance were enjoying both bands as well.
If you want to see video of the show, a nice gentleman in front of me was filming it for the Seattle Weekly and said it would be up on Monday.
