I was at Sasquatch and I'd never been to a Flaming Lips show before. Let me just say that it overshadowed the whole weekend, no matter how fantastic the rest of the lineup was. Being stuffed into that crowd 10 feet from the stage with clouds of confetti raining down on me was probably the best time I've ever had in my entire life. They sure are crowd pleasers. I especially loved it when the nude women got up on stage during their cover of The Song Remains the Same. Other memorable moments include the sing along version of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, the chanting and singing along during The Yeah Yeah Yeah song and the peace signs during I don't remember when. Not to mention I got to meet Wayne Coyne earlier in the day and have him sign my ticket to Christmas on Mars (which I wasn't able to see due to the ridiculous hard curfew instated by the amphitheatre, supposedly to be considerate of their "neighbors"). Very very very very very fun show, though.
