I dunno about Sasquatch but I saw M83 yesterday and holy crap....it was horrible...what a crappy performance. Maybe it's just because I know a little too much about synthesizers but that man uses too many digital pads! gah! it was like a horrible hour long dense pad that never ended....
and the man promotes himself as an analog synth user?....yeah right, that bright blue led, translucent modular synthesizer sat there like a beautiful trophy wife that you just impress your friends with....he only twisted one knob on that thing the entire show....can you guess which knob?...yes, the cutoff frequency, wow how creative.
Want to know what did impress me though....berg sans nipple...now there is a band with more than a hint of ingenuity, they could show m83 a thing or two about maximizing performance and unique sounds.
