That is what is great about music, eh? Pretty much the reason you've laid out to why you disliked the album are the reasons I like it ... but I suppose I have a predilection towards noise (e.g., Xiu Xiu, Aphex Twin, Atari Teenage Riot, etc.) I tend to think a truly innovative album will generate a lot of opinion both for and against, and to me, that is what we have here.
