The three records I would want to write the 33 1/3 books are Sleater-Kinney's Dig Me Out, Annie's Anniemal and Liz Phair's Exile In Guyville but there is just no way I could come close to writing anywhere near as good of a book on Dig Me Out as Hannah would - she is unquestionably my favorite rock writer in Seattle.
I think I'd do a better job of writing about Anniemal than I would about EIG, so maybe I'll pitch that at the next opportunity.
Has anyone else read Carl Wilson's book on Celine Dion's Let's Talk About Love? It is just a great book and is a must read. It doesn't make the case for Celine's brilliance (could you?) but explores why we dislike her so much. The poor girl behind the counter at Sonic Boom thought I was off my rocker when I asked for it a few months back, but I'm really glad I read it.
