I also think it seemed like Kianna was taking on more of a front-person role, which was weird. I just really liked the band more as a scrappy thing that seemed really homegrown and fun. Now, they are still great, but it's moving toward something that looks more calculated and I don't really feel quite as good about it. "Beat Control" is a perfect example. I am sort of disgusted by its slickness, but damn if I haven't walked around singing it for days. My wife actually yelled at me and told me to "stop the Tilly."

Anyway, Tilly is lovely, but maybe the music industry is eating them!!! We'll see where they head next. The honest truth is that I support them doing whatever makes them happy and allows them to keep moving forward (i.e., making enough money to support 5+ people).
