Confession: I spent most of last year avoiding Vampire Weekend and was astonished/annoyed at how often I heard KEXP DJs saying they had just played them, especially since I always found the songs so bland I never noted them.

But now I've had way, way too many hours at home listening to KEXP at all hours, taking care of our bebe, and I gotta say -- I now not only recognize Vampire Weekend, but I also really like the songs I've heard. So there ya go. I'm a believer.
