So, I have to ask, why couldn't they just be "The Blue Roses" instead of "Hello, Blue Roses"? Not that there is anything particularly wrong with that, but we seem to be hurtling towards a world of bands that use statements for band names, which sort of bugs me, grammatically speaking. I mean, "Volcano, I'm Still Excited"? "And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead" (although cool, it is cumbersome), "We Wrote the Book on Connectors"? Ok, maybe +10 points for creativity, but minus several thousands for the Faulknerian moments. Maybe its a reaction to all the "The Nouns" bands, but still ...
