Much like "D" said, it's like a piece of the city has just been demolished. First the Showbox gets sold to a massive corporate interest, then this? Just leaves me thinking why? It's not as if the venue had lost it's relevancy.

To think just last night I was walking by there and thinking how great it was to see a line out the door again. Makes me even more thankful I got to see the sold out Fleet Foxes/Cave Singers show a couple of weeks ago. A good note to go out on at least, if such a thing is possible.

And we were so excited for the chance to play there come March...

What a f'n shame.
