I was likewise pleased to see Grinderman on there (I suspect that record will be overlooked as it came out so early in the year), and Beirut (which I love love love). PJ Harvey at #3 was an odd choice (and I say this as a huge PJ fan who likes the new record a lot -- it doesn't deserve *that* high a ranking). And no Okkervil River?
Do I even need to say this Kings of Leon record in a top 50 list makes me go meh?
