My first run-in with Ween was in high school. A kid assured me that they'd blow my mind and change the way I looked at music and gave me a tape of The Pod. About a minute into "Strap On That Jammy Pac" I was sure he was on drugs. I'd never heard "music" like that before and I thought he was playing a joke on me. Later on I actually came to love Ween, though I still can't make it through The Pod in one sitting.
