I saw the Pogues show Wednesday night. Despite Shane MacGowan looking like he was dying and slurring through most of his dialog and the first song, he surprisingly pulled his shit together and put on one hell of a show. There was a huge sweaty mass of bodies on the floor singing along to all the old hits, arms around your neighbor and all. Really fun crowd, really fun show.
