I have to confess that I got to the show early specifically to see Bishop Allen, as I hadn't seen them live before, and I thought they did a great job opening for John. Infectiously fun pop tracks off their new album, like Rain and Click Click Click Click, got the crowd smiling and moving. Several people near me didn't know their music before the show but liked what they were hearing. Their music is a bit reminiscent of Paul Simon.
